The main reason for bringing it is that it will help the people to increase the production of fish. Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana was started by G on 10 September 2020. Through this scheme, people will be able to earn well by doing fish farming and will be able to improve their economic condition.

These 2 new schemes will run in the financial year 2022-23 to benefit 17 sub-castes of the fishermen community in the state. These schemes will benefit those fishermen who have faced loss of traditional sources of income and livelihood.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana, people will be able to get grants by constructing new ponds, rearing ponds and biofloc ponds on their private land. For the availability of seed food in these constructed ponds, people will be given the benefit of subsidy from the farmers government in the input scheme, fish feed manufacturing, fish feed mill, ornamental fish culture, motorcycle cum ice box and refrigerated vehicle scheme.
There are new schemes for the benefit of those who have been given lease for ponds in gram sabhas. MMSY and NBSY schemes will increase fish production in the state and more effectively, double the income of all of them. Those who have been allotted pattas for ponds in gram sabhas also include patta holders from the fishermen community who are poor and constitute 3-4% of the state’s population.
PM Matsya Sampada Yojana
The Matsya Sampada Yojana was launched by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on 10 November 2020 through video conferencing. The Prime Minister had informed everyone through a tweet on Twitter that the main objective of starting this scheme is to promote fisheries in the country and provide employment to fishermen, as well as increase fisheries in the country. . The Government of India aims to promote fisheries from 2021 to 25, so that the income of fish children can increase. The Government of India had earmarked an amount of ₹ 20,000 crores for this scheme.
